We separate manufacturer claims, verified facts, contributor observations and newsroom judgement.

Automated assistance

Automation may help turn press material into a clear story, but it may not invent quotations, prices, dates, specifications, local availability or driving experience. Automated stories identify their source and carry an assistance note.

Photography and image use

We use relevant photography with a clear source or credit wherever possible. Reader-facing stories should credit the photographer, team, organisation or source when that information is available.

Images are used under licence, permission or an applicable copyright exception. Copyright remains with the relevant holder. A rights holder who believes an image has been used in error can contact us and we will review it promptly.

Drive Wales

Parking, access, opening and trading information is dated and linked to a source or recorded visit. It is guidance rather than a guarantee. Facts that are overdue for review are withheld from the practical panel.

Corrections

Published edits are retained in revision history. Material corrections update the story’s public timestamp and correction note.
