Rali Ceredigion prepares for 149-car entry across west Wales

Rali Ceredigion is due to begin in Aberystwyth on Thursday with a 149-car entry for three days of closed-road competition in west Wales, Motorsport UK says.

The event, running from 4 to 6 September, will host rounds of the FIA European Rally Championship and British Rally Championship. Motorsport UK says it has also added the FIA European Historic Rally Championship for pre-1992 cars for 2026.

Motorsport UK says Welsh drivers in the British Rally Championship field include Meirion Evans and Osian Pryce, while John Dalton is listed to lead the National field in a Welsh-built Darrian T90 GTR.

The ceremonial start and Rali Show are planned for Aberystwyth seafront on Thursday evening. Competitive action is scheduled to start on Friday, with two street-stage runs in Aberystwyth followed by two stages in darkness.
