TfW rail fares frozen for a year from 1 March
The Welsh Government said the freeze covers all fares on Transport for Wales services, including tap-in, tap-out pay as you go.
The Welsh Government said all Transport for Wales rail fares would be frozen for a year from 1 March.
It said the freeze includes advance singles, returns and Transport for Wales’ tap-in, tap-out pay-as-you-go fares.
The government said the payment system had reduced the cost of more than three million train journeys across south-east Wales in the previous year, and that rollout in north Wales was approaching.
Passengers should check the fare and ticket conditions that apply to their journey.
